Accessibility at Baie de Saint Pol Campsite

Planning your stay at Sunêlia Baie de Saint Pol Campsite

Because a successful holiday starts with good planning, Sunêlia Baie de Saint Pol Campsite provides you with all the useful information you need regarding the accessibility of its accommodation, facilities and communal areas.

Situated in Saint-Pol-de-Léon, in northern Finistère, just a stone’s throw from the Breton coastline, our campsite enjoys a particularly favourable layout. The site is naturally flat and the main paths are tarmacked or stabilised, offering greater ease of movement for people with reduced mobility, older people, families with pushchairs or anyone who finds it difficult to get around.

As every holidaymaker has different needs, this page has been designed to help you easily assess the campsite’s accessibility before your stay. If you would like further details about accommodation, facilities or services, our team is on hand to assist and advise you before you book.

Access to the campsite and parking

The Sunêlia Baie de Saint Pol campsite has been designed to make it easy for holidaymakers to arrive and get around. Two parking spaces reserved for people with reduced mobility are available on site: one is situated right next to reception and the other is next to the accommodation for people with reduced mobility.

Holidaymakers staying on a camping pitch can park their vehicle directly on their pitch. For holiday rentals, a parking space is usually provided near the accommodation. Only the accommodation in the Prestige Plus Rooftop area has a parking area that is slightly further away, although it remains easily accessible.

The campsite is also well served for travellers using public transport. Morlaix railway station, situated a few kilometres away, provides easy access to the region by train, whilst Brest Airport is the main point of arrival for visitors coming from further afield.

If you’d like to find out about the accessibility of a particular accommodation option or need advice on choosing a pitch, our team is on hand to help before you book. We can guide you towards the solution best suited to your needs and provide you with all the information you need to plan your stay with complete peace of mind.

Reception

On your arrival, our team will welcome you at our reception, which is accessible to people with reduced mobility, with a disabled parking space located nearby to make your arrival and check-in as smooth as possible.

Our team is on hand to answer any questions you may have, accompany you to your accommodation or pitch if necessary, and provide information about the campsite’s facilities, services and access points. If you have any specific requirements before your arrival, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will be happy to advise you so that you can prepare for your stay in the best possible way and guide you towards the solutions best suited to your situation.

Other accommodation options

In addition to our mobility-impaired-friendly mobile home, Camping Sunêlia Baie de Saint Pol offers a wide range of accommodation options to suit a variety of needs. Depending on their location and layout, some rental properties may be suitable for holidaymakers with reduced mobility, even if they do not have specific mobility-impaired-friendly facilities.

The proximity to facilities, level access and the layout of outdoor areas may vary from one accommodation option to another. That is why we encourage you to speak to our team before making your booking. We can outline the various options available and help you choose the rental that best suits your needs and level of independence.

Guide dogs and assistance animals are welcome at Camping Sunêlia Baie de Saint Pol. They are permitted in all accommodation units as well as in the campsite’s communal areas.

Camping pitches

The pitches at Camping Sunêlia Baie de Saint Pol are spread across naturally flat ground, offering easy access for most holidaymakers. The campsite’s main paths are tarmacked or compacted, making it easy to move between the various living areas and facilities.

Each pitch is accessible by car, allowing you to park your vehicle directly on your plot. Depending on their location, some pitches are situated right next to the toilet blocks, reception or leisure areas.

Our team is on hand to advise you on choosing a pitch that suits your needs, whether you’d prefer more direct access to the campsite’s facilities or wish to minimise walking during your stay.

Please note that pitches equipped with private toilet facilities are not suitable for people with reduced mobility.

Adapted communal toilet facilities

The Sunêlia Baie de Saint Pol campsite provides toilet facilities accessible to people with reduced mobility, designed to make everyday tasks easier and offer greater comfort of use.

These facilities for people with reduced mobility include, in particular:

  • adapted toilets with a wider access area;
  • grip rails to assist with transfers;
  • a spacious, easily accessible walk-in shower;
  • a manoeuvring area allowing a wheelchair to turn round.

Located close to the campsite’s main facilities, this toilet block is easily accessible via tarmac or compacted earth paths leading to the various areas of the site.
